one of many, that can tell you about the rich culture Okinawa and its people possess, however, to experience it first
hand is a different story. On September 5, 2004, my family and I spent the day at the 22nd Annual Okinawan Festival
held in Honolulu, Hawaii at Kapiolani Park. For me, reading about Okinawa's culture and actually experiencing it first
hand culminated a greater understanding and appreciation. Here is your first step towards learning about
